Coastal Culture started the way most good things do.

Somewhere between a beach parking lot and the ocean.

Born at the shore. Made for the road.

Our brand was born on the shore. Not in a boardroom. 
Built for people who actually use things.

Our founder grew up in Pennsylvania.

No salt in the air, no surf reports, just a feeling that there had to be something a little freer out there.

So he went west. Landed at the coast. Set up shop in beautiful San Diego, Ca. Started surfing. Riding moto. Biking the coast. Doing a whole lot of things he loved, and realizing that was kind of the point.

That’s where we came from.

Coastal Culture started as a simple observation: The coast isn’t a place you visit. It’s a state of mind you carry. 

We make bags for life.
